About Us (the 5 W’s)

The who, what, where, when and why…..

Who:
Write On ~ Creative Writing Services, LLC. was born out of the desire to assist businesses and non-profit organizations with marketing, advertising and writing needs.  With over 15 years of marketing, advertising, non-profit and writing experience, owner, Lisa Manyon decided it was time to offer these services on her own terms. Manyon’s work has been featured by the National Association of Women Writers, Absolute Write, www.BusinessInfoGuide.com, Copywriting TNT and more. She is the first professional copywriter in the state of Idaho to acheive Glazer - Kennedy Creating Copy that Sells certification. She is Managing Director of Lorrie Morgan-Ferrero’s, (one of the nation’s top female copywriters), Gold Copywriting Mentorship Program, Copywriting Expert for the Association of Web Entrepreneurs and an Advisory Board member for momsmakingmoney.org. You can learn more about Manyon’s accomplishments by visiting Press On to read recent news releases and listen to pod cast interviews.

Manyon’s experience (including radio, ad agency and non-profit gigs) positioned her to create a series of training seminars for the Idaho Small Business Development Center that help small businesses avoid costly marketing startup mistakes and she’s incorporated that information into a comprehensive guide, complete with support from national gurus, Proven Techniques to Recognize, Avoid and Correct 4 Common Marketing Mistakes.

Manyon loves her family, work, wine, gardening and now she’s finally beginning to understand why people chase that little white ball around the golf course (although she swore she’d never get it). She’s also quite passionate about non-profit causes and is actively involved with Willow Center for Grieving Children.

Why:

Write On ~ Creative Writing Services was formed to help businesses work smarter not harder and to help plan the work and work the plan.

Having a plan for your marketing and advertising efforts is one of the most important elements of the foundation of your success. You need a partner who wants you to succeed just as much as they want to succeed.

Manyon explains it like this : “I was once told that everything I do I should be doing for myself.  In other words my motivation should be the “what’s in it for me?” rather than the “what can I do for you?”  Frankly, this technique doesn’t work for me.  I’m in business for my customers and so should you be. The primary concern should be what you can do for them.  Otherwise there is no reason to be in business. Sure, you should get satisfaction from your work. You should even profit from it.  But the real satisfaction comes from a job well done and a client getting the product or service that they expect and deserve. That’s what makes my work important and worthwhile.”

An even more important element to your success is execution of your plan.  Plan your work and work your plan or progress will not happen as quickly as you would like.

What is your plan?
