Doing What You Say & Saying What You Mean

Internet Marketing Sins

Lately I’ve noticed a lot of indifference.?  I’m wondering if you’ve noticed it, too?

It used to be I could count on people – especially in business-to do what they said they would do. Now it seems missed deadlines are “no big thing” and this isn’t simply a personal observation on my part.

The topic of reliability, integrity, ethics and honesty in business has come up more than once as of late. Friends, mentors, and mastermind group members have all seen an odd trend.

Some people simply aren’t doing what they say they’ll do and worse yet others are being really dishonest and hurting the reputation of entire niches.

There’s been some buzz about being authentic in business. To me that seems the only way to go. After all, I’m me — my business is a direct extension of me and because of that I always try to do the right thing.

I guess that isn’t the way it is with everyone, though.

To me it’s disheartening. Recently Sylvie Fortin got really fed up with similar actions. In fact, she created a report about it and it’s stirring the pot. I urge you to grab a copy if you haven’t already read it.

I’d love to hear your thoughts. What are you doing to do your part in supporting honesty, ethics and integrity?
