Seattle Seahawk fans and sports fans in general may enjoy this little dissertation or not. I say, or not, because I realized that about half of the fans at the game on Sunday were fair-weather fans despite the unusually bright, Seattle day.

Computer SOS Solutions Made Simple

One phone call was all it took to get my computer system running at full speed again. It leaves me wondering why I didn’t pick up the phone sooner.

I called The Computer Chip because my computer was REALLY slow. I’m a bit technologically challenged. I know enough to be dangerous and I’ve needed someone to come straighten out my system out for sometime. I’m also a procrastinator when it comes to technology. Most of the time it causes a bit of information overload for me. It’s almost as if my hard drive is full when the techno-speak begins, I wouldn’t be surprised if my eyes glaze over. (more…)

Take heed to headlines

Your strongest benefit is your headline. Find the most compelling benefit and let it help you speak to your customers. What will your product or service do for your customers?

Would you like to earn more money?

The question above undoubtedly got your attention. That’s exactly what headlines are supposed to do.

And, it’s why they are the most important part of your copywriting. A headline draws your audience in and makes them want to know more. Use your headlines to generate more sales.

According to Dan Kennedy, author and copywriter, a headline should be no more than twelve words long and it should stand alone. Your headline needs to make a statement on its own and lead into the content.
